Google Docs is gradually becoming the web version of Microsoft Word 2003

I don’t know if the Google Docs developers are intentionally doing it or is it really the way to develop Google Docs into a full-blown web based desktop applciation? Google Operating System has spotted  new changes in the Google Docs interface that would somehow  remind you of the old Microsoft Word 2003 interface.

More particularly, the tabbed interface now shows traditional menus in Microsoft Word 2003 which include File, Edit, Insert, Format, Tools, and Table. These six main menus contain various functions that were present in the old version of Microsoft Word. (more…)
